Welcome to Walnut Corner.

Walnut Corner is run by Kate with a team of childminders working together to provide high quality childcare in a home environment.

We encourage a calm, relaxed atmosphere for our children, emphasise the social aspect of mealtime and recognise the importance of a healthy diet.

Free-play and structured-play are both part of our daily activities along with music, dancing and outdoor action!

We also run a small out-of-school club for children who attend school or live locally.

Our childminding area consists of a large playroom, a smaller quiet room, access to a downstairs toilet / kitchen facilities and a large garden with lots of outdoor toys.

Indoors we provide a variety of toys, books, games and activities for babies and children from birth through to 14 years.  We enjoy reading and music together, and schedule lots of fun things like dressing-up, tea-parties and storytime.
